Houston Baker

Chief Inspector | ICC Certified

Herbert “Houston” Baker brings over 40 years of experience in the construction and electrical industry, along with more than 20 years of instructional and training leadership.

He currently serves as:

  • Building Inspector for the City of Tallassee

Houston holds electrical licenses in over 20 states and maintains multiple certifications including:

  • ICC Certification #10318032

  • OSHA 30 Certified

  • Apprentice Plumber/Gas Fitter (APP-43106)

  • Electrical Associate’s Degree

  • Apprenticeship through Opelika State Technical College

His career has spanned estimating, project management, contract oversight, and inspections across residential and commercial construction.

Houston’s focus is simple: safety, compliance, integrity, and doing the job right the first time.

Codie Mills

Building & Field Support | Inspector

Codie joined the team full-time in 2024 after completing his Associate of Applied Science in Building/Construction Technology from Crown School of Trades and Technology.

He supports field operations and inspections while continuing to grow in hands-on construction and inspection processes. Codie brings strong technical education and a commitment to precision and professionalism.

Christian Collier

Field Operations | Job Foreman | Inspector

Christian has been part of the team since 2018, starting as an electrician’s helper and advancing to Job Foreman. With years of field experience, he plays a key role in supporting inspection coordination and job-site readiness.

He is known for reliability, attention to detail, and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

Travis Nichols

Field Technician | Inspector

Since joining in 2021, Travis has expanded his experience across residential and commercial electrical systems, service installations, and rewiring projects. His hands-on background supports thorough, practical inspections with a real-world understanding of construction challenges.

Rebecca (Becky) Summers

Chief Executive Officer | Inspector

Becky has been a key part of the organization since 2015. She earned her Journeyman Electrician license in 2022, completed her state-certified apprenticeship through the Alabama Office of Apprenticeship in 2025, and obtained her Master Electrician license in August 2025.She oversees:

  • Scheduling

  • Estimating

  • Inspection coordination

  • Project documentation

  • Administrative operations

Her leadership helps ensure every inspection request is handled professionally, accurately, and efficiently.

Known for her friendly, solutions-first approach, Marcie guides builders, homeowners, and industry partners through service options, scheduling, and project coordination. She takes pride in clear communication, quick follow-through, and making sure every client feels confident about the process.
